^{A daring creation from Domaine du Pélican, who sought to express another facet of this grape variety through classic Burgundian vinification, but without new wood. The result is beyond our expectations, a wine of great purity and magnificent aromatic complexity. Guillaume d'Angerville is not a great Volnay winemaker for nothing. On the nose, subtle notes of fir buds and sweet spices mingle with intense red fruit notes. Hints of morello cherry, wild strawberry and redcurrant confit can be detected. The palate is incredibly fine, and the texture could really transport us to Burgundy. The rusticity of the Arbois terroir takes us back to the Jura. We discover peppery, smoky notes perfectly representative of this terroir. A magnificent creation.}
